Zhejiang Chinese Medical University

“Chinese Medicine” Freshman Scholarship is established by Zhejiang Chinese Medical University (hereinafter referred to as ZCMU), aiming to attract and encourage excellent international students to study Chinese medicine, Acupuncture and Tuina in ZCMU, to promote the Chinese medicine culture to the world.

I. Scholarship Programs

International students who apply to study undergraduate or postgraduate programs majoring in Chinese Medicine or Acupuncture and Tuina.

II. Scholarship Award

25000RMB each award, awarded to 10 freshmen on the first year’s registration by tuition waiver.

III. Eligibility

1.Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health.

2.Applicants must be law-abiding, excellent in study and interested in Chinese Medicine.

3.Education background:

a.Applicants for bachelor degree program must have a high school certificate, no older than 30 years.

b.Applicants for Master degree program must have bachelor's degree or equivalent study ability, no older than 35 years.

c.Applicants for Doctoral degree studies must have master's degree or equivalent study ability, no older than 40 years.

d.Chinese teaching program applicants should be in corresponding Chinese level

4.Non-parallel-awarding of any other Government or University Scholarships

IV. Application

1.Scholarship application deadline: no later than June 30th every year.

2.Applicants must submit application documents to the International Educational Collage within the application period.

3. Applicants must provide the following materials truly and correctly.

a.Application Forms for ”Chinese Medicine” Freshman Scholarship of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University

b.Copy of passport

c.Highest diploma and transcripts (copy). Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.

d.Applicants for applying Bachelor degree program are requested to provide two letters of recommendation from their school, for applying Master or Doctoral degree program two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English by professors or associate professors are required.

e.HSK Certificate or other Chinese Language Test results (copy) are requested to provide if taking programs in Chinese.

f.Copy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form (within 6 months)
